Locally Grown

Bitterroot Nursery has provided locally grown plants to the Valley and surrounding area for over fifty years.

We grow many of our evergreen and deciduous trees right here on the nursery, along with a variety of shrubs and perennials.

These trees, shrubs, and perennials are adapted to our unique and challenging climate from the day you plant them, making your garden more resilient and beautiful from the very beginning. We start vegetables in our greenhouses using heirloom and trusted traditional seeds.

Come and browse our selection of bare root, balled-and-burlapped, and potted varieties, and build your own special Bitterroot Valley garden!

We feature garlic bulbs from Pelkey Farms, and dahlia bulbs from Kangaroo Gardens, both grown right here in the Bitterroot Valley. We also carry potato starts from Holbrook Seed Potatoes of Twin Bridges, Montana.

We are excited as of the 2024 growing season to offer an extensive selection of day lilies grown in Corvallis, Montana!

Each fall, we offer a plethora of pumpkins, squash, and decorative gourds.
